In just a few days, we’ll be opening the doors to Avid Connect and coming together for the first gathering of the Avid Customer Association (ACA). We’ve spent countless hours, days and weeks planning for this event that could be history in the making.

The fact is, Avid Connect isn’t just specific to the U.S., it isn’t just for one segment of the industry or caliber of professionals—it’s a global event with hundreds of attendees from more than 40 countries coming together from audio, video and broadcast to network, share experiences and collaborate with Avid as we address the industry challenges of today and design the technology of the future.

For those who registered to attend Avid Connect before it reached capacity, you’re in for an educational, professional and social journey over the three-day event, April 4 – 6 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. As we’ve already noted in previous Avid Blogs articles, you’ll have the opportunity to network with worldwide leaders and creative professionals, take part in industry-specific educational sessions, hear from renowned leader George Bodenheimer, Executive Chairman of ESPN, watch a live performance by a Grammy-award winning celebrity entertainer, and attend the exclusive “big reveal” of the next phase of our Avid Everywhere vision for the industry.

With guidance from the ACA members, we can work together to further lead and transform the industry as we help shape the future—your future as a media professional in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
