As the founder and CEO of MelroseMAC—an all-encompassing tech boutique for creatives and creators in Los Angeles—I have always strived to provide the best possible services and solutions to my entertainment and media clients. Navigating Current Industry Challenges and Transformation
As we continue to expand, I now find myself focusing on the MelroseTEC division. This venture in the world of customized solutions and “made-to-measure” philosophy sets us apart from the competition. Guided by our clients’ goals and not product sales, MelroseTEC tailors solutions based on clients’ needs and matches them to their daily activities.
This past year was very significant for the Partner Advisory Council, as we were able to clearly define the three tiers of the entire channel worldwide (select resellers, distribution, and elite resellers), focusing heavily on specific deals, such as: dealer registration, BDF, and education deals.
Avid staff who work directly with the Partner Advisory Council, have made many of our requests a top priority. For example, we requested more support, training and better access to Avid resources – all of which is currently being addressed. This level of commitment gives the Avid community great confidence in knowing that our voices are being heard.
Our recent Council visit to Avid global headquarters in Burlington, MA was a huge success. The constructive dialogue and conversations between the Council and leaders of the top Avid support team was extremely beneficial. Our accessibility to the phenomenal upper management and big decision makers was both refreshing and thought provoking. We are extremely appreciative and grateful for their time.

Speaking of time, I just can’t seem to get enough of it these days. Between running around with my young children and running a successful and growing company, it is not easy for me to take the time to leave home. However, I can honestly say that the trip to Burlington was well worth it. I have a much stronger sense of how genuinely Avid is listening, working to solve our challenges, and how much they sincerely care.
