Moving the Media Enterprise to the Cloud
For those looking to better understand how to migrate their media workflows to the cloud, join Avid’s Chief Architect, Shailendra Mathur, and Microsoft’s Senior Program Manager for Azure Storage, Gerald Tiu, on Wednesday at 10.30am in Salon 1 as they present “Cloud Transition Patterns for Media Enterprise.” Together, Mathur and Tiu will be exploring how the cloud can be harnessed to support operational and business agility for the post production industry. They will explore the multiple hosting choices and virtualization technologies available and the benefits of a common software platform to host media processes across the various deployment choices.
Honoring Student Filmmakers
Continuing Avid’s commitment to Education, we are proud to once again sponsor the SMPTE-HPA Student Film Festival to be held on Monday, October 23 at TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in the Hollywood & Highland Center.
