Food. Wine. Live Music. And Perfect Sound. The inaugural BottleRock Napa Valley Festival had it all.

By in Music Creation

Some of the world’s hottest bands, artists and performers, including The Black Keys,  Kings of Leon and The Shins, came together to kick-off the inaugural BottleRock Napa Valley this past weekend. The four-day festival brought together the perfect mix of our favorite things:  food, wine and, of course, live music!

Clair Global, the premier global sound reinforcement provider, used Avid’s VENUE Profile System to broadcast and record the festival, while Delicate Productions and Hi Tech provided several Avid consoles for stage-side production. The VENUE Profile System is designed to enable the high-quality sound festival goers expect, while providing live sound engineers with the efficiency and reliability that can be so elusive in an atmosphere filled with unpredictable conditions.

The Shins FOH Jeremy Lemos

FOH Engineer Jeremy Lemos, who handles live sound for The Shins, is a loyal member of Avid’s preeminent customer community. He uses VENUE Profile because of its proven, trusted and consistent performance, regardless of the environment.

“I always ask for VENUE whenever possible. At festivals, we are not able to do sound checks. VENUE gives me confidence that I can just walk in to any festival with my file and the sound will be perfect,” said Lemos. “It’s like living in the future – I’m spoiled with checking PAs with the virtual sound check from my iPad.”

For those of you who weren’t able to join us this year, we have you covered with a great Spotify playlist that brings together some of the best bands featured at the festival.
