Get Started Fast with Sibelius

In our final lesson, I’ll work with a unique feature in Sibelius: Dynamic Parts. This feature creates separate instrumental parts and updates them as you make changes to the score.

In Episode 4, I’ll cover layout tips and techniques. You’ll learn instrument changes, how to transpose music, and how to work with transposing scores.

In Episode 3, I’ll cover how to create and use the various score elements that are known as Notations and Text.

In Episode 2, you’ll learn how to easily navigate complex scores with the Timeline window, new in Sibelius 7.5. I’ll also cover how to use the ribbon-style interface.

In Episode 1, we’ll cover the most fundamental elements of music notation: notes and rhythms. We’ll also learn how to enter music using the mouse, a virtual on-screen keyboard, and your computer keyboard. Finally, see how to play music right into Sibelius with your MIDI keyboard.
