Let Your Voice Be Heard—Participate in the ACA Community Poll to Share What’s Important to You

The media and entertainment industry is in the midst of a historic transition. As the amount of content grows and the platforms for sharing expand, we all feel the pressure to maintain viewership and profits. The Avid Customer Association (ACA), the world’s most innovative and influential community of media and entertainment industry professionals, needs your help to solve these issues.

Together with Avid, the ACA leadership has created a poll to gather direct input from the greater ACA community to drive strategic product development. Taking into consideration multiple feedback channels for the product fixes, features and workflow enhancements customers want most, we’ve evaluated requests from Avid Support Forums, IdeaScale, Beta Programs, as well as from conversations with Avid product managers. From all this rich feedback, we have developed a list of the most important potential product enhancements.

We ask you to participate in the poll by sharing what’s important to you. The community voice will impact the final recommendations the Advisory Council makes to Avid.

 

Here’s how to participate:

  • Log into the ACA Portal
  • Click the “Poll” tab at the top of the page
  • Choose your product of interest under category (You can participate for all products, if you’d like)
  • Promote or demote each product enhancement idea (Take your time! You can only promote or demote each idea once, and it cannot be undone)
  • Watch the poll to see what the community decides!

Matthew Schneider has over 20 years of experience in the post production and media and entertainment technology industries. Recently he returned to Avid as a product designer, with a focus on Avid’s MediaCentral | Editorial Management platform. Previously, Matthew worked for 16 years at PostWorks New York as a workflow engineer, assisting clients in workflow design and implementation, and supporting the editors, colorists, and artists at PostWorks with technology and workflow challenges. Prior to joining PostWorks, Matthew worked as a support engineer for Avid, assisting with large-scale broadcast network deployments and working across a broad spectrum of Avid’s film and television customer base.
