Round 2 of the ACA Vote Is Now Open — Exercise Your Right to Be Heard

We are excited to announce that over 4,000 community members participated in Round 1 of the inaugural Avid Customer Association (ACA) Vote. Now, Round 2 of the vote will serve as a way to concentrate energy on the top priorities for the community. This is your second and final chance to focus attention on what matters most to you!

Continued feedback from ACA members has helped inspire and guide Avid’s strategic direction, products, solutions and future offerings, and the vote is one of the key ways the ACA collects information to do so. Sharing your voice means ensuring that Avid is delivering solutions that help solve YOUR most critical issues, and supports what is most important to YOU and YOUR business requirements.

Now, Round 2 of voting will consist of the top results, plus the applicable and trending write-ins from Round 1. Calculations were done on an average ranking, and results were looked at by all participants (overall results) – as well as by participant groups (enterprise organizations, creative/professional teams, and individual creative professionals) to ensure that outliers by underrepresented groups were taken into Round 2. The number of results taken into Round 2 for each category varies; to ensure items with close results/ranking, as well as top items from each participant group were incorporated.

Round 1 of the ACA Vote saw a variety of participants, 60% being independent creative professional, 27% part of a creative professional team and 13% from an enterprise organization. Here’s an even higher level demographic breakdown of our participants:
