Thanks – playing with it now!

  • Louie Swift

I’ve still not had contact re Education Upgrade yet either!

    • Avid

Hi Louie, you haven’t missed it. The team is working on getting Academic upgrade emails into customer hands. Thanks for your patience and stay tuned. -Adam

  • Leif Holmberg

Hi! Still no academic upgrade emails.

    • Avid

Hi Leif, have you logged into your Avid Account and checked the “Products Not Yet Downloaded” area? -Adam

      • Leif Holmberg

        Hi Adam!
Yes, I´ve logged ino my Avid account and it says; “NO products found”

        • Avid

Leif, sorry we haven’t gotten it to you yet. Do you mind contacting the support team directly ( ) and they can investigate this and give you a redemption code to enter in your Avid Account. -Adam

      • jonathanbaldwin

My account *does* list the upgrade as waiting to download but when I put in my license number I get the message “Your copy of Sibelius does not qualify for an upgrade. Please contact Sibelius customer service”

  • Louis

I received the e-mail, but there is nothing in my “Products Not Yet Downloaded” area???

  • Louis

Is someone supposed to actually answer our question?

  • jonathanbaldwin

My 30-day demo has ended and still no upgrade info…

    • jonathanbaldwin

However, it’s in the “my downloads” section or similar. If I hadn’t searched around for it I wouldn’t have known. And if I hadn’t happened to come to the Sibelius site I wouldn’t have known 7.5 existed!
I’m grateful that the upgrade is free, really – but not impressed at the way it was communicated…

  • Bob

Anybody know how to contact Avid BEFORE you buy to ask questions about their software. I can’t even join their forum to ask questions.

  • Bob

Thank you. I saw that before but, it has a place to put your serial number. The phone system is locked down tight, and you can’t get anywhere without a serial number, so I thought it wouldn’t work.

  • Aaron Kildom

Schade, dass es die Beschreibungen nicht in deutsch gibt.

  • Gregory Gathright

I cannot activate my downloaded 7.5. It lets me get to the activation screen, then will not accept the activation code. Ths is the code I used for 7.1. Does this mean 7.5 is not a free upgrade?

    • Sam Butler

      Hi Gregory,

The Sibelius 7.5 upgrade is indeed a paid upgrade so once you have it, you’ll be given a new license that will allow you to activate it straight away. For now, you can carry on using Sibelius 7.5 using the 30-day trial.

You can buy the upgrade from our website:
